If you are driving your automobile in the forward direction and you need to reverse your car, you will need to come to a complete Stop for a brief while before shifting the gear into the “Reverse” position. Nevertheless, you should Stop for a few seconds after you have finished Reversing before shifting the vehicle into Drive.  Similarly Planets switching from Direct motion to Retrogression or from Retrogression to Direct motion become ‘Stambit’ (nearly Still, Stopped or Stationary) over a period of time during the transition. Whether this occurs for several hours or several days depends on the planet. For instance, the slowest planet, Saturn, appears to be stationary for approximately ten days prior to altering its apparent direction of motion. Mercury, on the other hand, appears to be stationary for a few hours.

Please note, planets produce effects based on their speed and direction of movement.  Emotions, for instance, are most rapidly changing and are governed by the Moon’s speed.  Saturn similarly regulates the slowest endeavour, which is Karmic Re-balancing.

When major planets, such as Jupiter and Saturn in particular, enter a state of Stillness or become Stationary between direct and retrograde motion, they intensify in concentration and effectiveness. The houses and natal planets that they interact with through a conjunction or aspect may be activated, leading to noteworthy outcomes.

Every year, Saturn moves Retrograde for around 4-5 months. He may remain still for up to 5-6 days after changing his apparent direction of movement.  Saturn was in ‘Retrograde’ motion from 18 Jun 2023 to 4 Nov 2023.  It has just turned Direct in motion on 4 Nov 2023 but is in stationary motion for about 5-6 days.   The outer planets such as Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are particularly significant when Stationary as they provide insight into events that occur on a Global scale. Extreme events like Natural disasters, Wars, Tragedies, Bombings, Assassinations of important people, political upsets are triggered.  

Please note, Jupiter, ‘Dharma & Jeeva karaka’ (significator of Righteousness nd Quality of Life)   will have an impact on  World’s Economy, Food price & supply, Gold price and the quality of life.

Now coming back to Stationary effect. I read somewhere and that made a sense for me, hence I am sharing this concept. If the stationary   planet is either Jupiter or Saturn, it will be the most powerful in your chart. The planet’s qualities and effects are very clear because its forces are very strong. Take an example, if you run on a wet road, your feet will leave small marks in the mud. But if you stand still in one place Your feet leave deep marks on the ground.

As we know Saturn is in Aquarius sign aspecting Jupiter and Rahu in Aries.

On Individual Level:

• Saturn oversees everything that has to do with Karmic rebalancing, which is a very gradual process. It challenges you to build a solid foundation. Saturn retrogrades indicate a need for caution. Saturn’s Positioning and the zodiac signs Capricorn and Aquarius in your chart would reveal that

• Saturn is aspecting Areis.  Aries indicate Leadership qualities. Saturn gets drained in Aries, hence challnges in LEadreship cannt be rueld out

• Saturn is throwing its stronger influence on Jupiter, hence find out what Jupiter indicates in your birth chart.  Saturn’s strong influence would be there too

• Saturn aspects Rahu in Aries, I believe Rahu would be like a Snakebite.  Now find out what Rahu signifies in your chart.

• Saturn aspects Rahu in Aries, I believe Rahu would be like a Snakebite. To me Rahu signifies ‘unconventional’, Poison, Gases, Chemicals, Out of Box, etc.   What is happening in the world right now?  Israel-Hamas War?  This is indeed going to get further intensified, use of Gases, Chemicals, and provoking Muslims to go for Jihad or Islamic War cannot be ruled out

• Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius indicating Restructuring required.

• Saturn aspects Jupiter, causing decline and/or challenges in quality of life. Some leaders or the faiths may go through reality check.
