‘The Celestial Council’ or ‘The Planetary Cabinet’  for the Year (1 April 2022 – 21 March 2023)

As per Hindu Lunar calendar,  ‘Chaitra’ month begins from ‘Amavasya’ (new Moon)  when Sun and Moon are in total conjunction in Pisces sign, which generally falls in March/April and is considered as the first month of the year.

In fact,  the ‘Chaitra Shukla Pratipada’ (first day after Sunrise from Amavasya/New Moon is considered as the First day of the Hindu  New Year.    The horoscope for the Hindu New Year  for any particular location sets the tone for the entire year. The day of commencement of the Hindu New Year decides the ‘Samvatsara’ and the King for that year. The King being the planet that will play the most significant role in shaping the year. This  would provide an excellent indication of what to expect in the coming year.

Also the time of the Sun’s entry into the zodiac signs of Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and so on is marked to prepare the Mundane horoscope and the other planets are positioned according to the transit. The most important aspect of Mundane Astrology is the celestial council  or say Planetary Cabinet, which changes every year. All seven planets become King, Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief, Lord of Vegetation, Lord of Minerals, Lord of Juices, Lord of Grains, and so on. Every year, these offices will be reconfigured. The planet that becomes king one year may become   minister the following year or take up any other position

‘The Celestial Council’ (‘The Planetary Cabinet’)  is formed as  follows: 

1. King (Raja): The lord of the day falling on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (the first day of bright fortnight of (Chaitra) i.e. beginning of new Samvatsara is appointed as king of the year.

2. Minister (Mantri): The lord of the day when Sun ingress Aries is appointed as minister of year

3. Meghesh (Lord of Weather/Rains): The lord of the day when Sun ingresses Ardra Nakshatra

4. Sasyesh (Lord of 4 months crop): The lord of the day when Sun ingresses Cancer

5. Durgesh (Lord of Security/Defence): The lord of the day when Sun ingress Leo

6. Dhanesh (Lord of Wealth/Treasure): The lord of the day when Sun ingress Virgo

7. Rasesh (Lord of Jaggery, Sugar and Juices): The lord of the day when Sun ingress Libra

8. Dhaanyesh (Lord of winter crops): The lord of the day when Sun ingress Sagittarius

9. Neersesh (Lord of all trades such as metals): The lord of day when Sun ingress Capricorn

10. Falesh (Lord of Fruits and Flowers): The lord of the day when Sun ingress Pisces

Please note, I am writing this Blog in the aircraft while  travelling from New Zealand to Singapore with limited resources at hand and no access to my notes.  Hence I am not  going to analyse each and every aspect of the Astrological chart, just a few important points to see what are the indications for the year                       1 April 2022 to 21 March 2023

Looking at   the Astrological Chart for Chaitra Pratipada (1 April 2022, 11:54:20 hours, IST, New Delhi, India) and analying what may happen to the ‘The Celestial Council’ members as given above or how are they  likely to behave

Please note the following important points: 

1. Major Highlight of the Year: The four slow moving planets, viz, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu,  all would change signs within a few days of each other between March 2022  and April 2022. This magnitude of change in such a short period of time is unusual, and we will all notice swift and profound changes in ourselves and our environment as a result of these

2 Rahu-Ketu Yoga: All planets are between Ketu and Rahu

3. Sun and Moon are usually considered Royal planets, and if neither of them becomes KING in any given year, Royalty Suffers.  Just remember, in our case Saturn is the King

4. Mars is also said to be the Commander-in-Chief on a permanent basis. And if he does not become commander-in-chief in any given year, then one of the Defence services (Army, Navy,  Airforce or state) would suffer 

5. It is stated that if Saturn or Mars reigns supreme, we will experience suffering and turmoil. 

6. Saturn is considered the “Planet of Death and Chaos” in Mundane Astrology.  I repeat, as per the above ready   table, you can see that Saturn is the King  for this forthcoming Vedic Year (1 April 2022 – 21 March 2023).

7.  As per Brihat Samhita, Chapter 19 – On planetary years (Grahavarṣaphala), “If  Saturn should be the lord of the year, the land will suffer from wicked men, bands of robbers and big wars; cows will perish; wealth will disappear; there will be heard the cries of people mourning for the death of their kinsmen in civil strife; severe epidemics will break out and afflict people.   Clouds will be dispersed by winds; trees will suffer from disease; the sky will be filled with dust concealing from view the discs of the Sun and Moon; tanks will become dry and rivers will fall.  Crops found growing here and there will perish for want of water; and in other places they will thrive only when fed by the slight rain sent down by Indra. Generally, if the Lord of the year should appear of small disc or dim or in his Nīcahouse or if he should suffer defeat in conjunction, he will not produce all the evil effects assigned to him. If he should be otherwise, the effects will be good. If a year already known to be a bad one (vide ch. on Jupiter) should also be found bad under this chapter, there will be an increase of adversity; if found good in both ways, then, an increase of prosperity; if found to be both good and bad, there will be a mixture both of prosperity and adversity.”

In The Celestial Council,

1.  SATURN is the natural Karmic enforcer,  holds 4 portfolios, such as King of the Year, Minister of Crops and Harvest, Minister for Wealth/treasury and the Minister for Solids, Trade and Metals. Some challenges are evident.   

Generally speaking Saturn indicates ‘slow movements, discipline, structure, Diseases, Old people  and  the natural enforcer of Karma’.  In addition to the above

• Slow movements, Lack of discipline, structural changes at all levels
• Spread of Diseases, Epidemic and/or Pandemic may pop up again
• Issues related with Health, Old people, Diseases and Death rate may increase
• Government may move slow
• Decision making would be concrete but with delayed action plan
• A lot of emphasis would be on Labour Class (farmers labourers, etc) who may benefit from the Government new schemes
• Hard work has to be done for the entire year
• War like scenario, Political and/or Foreign conspiracy
• One of the Defence services (Army, Navy or Airforce) would suffer
• State funerals, public grief , and disappointments are on cards

• “Unforeseen and Unexpected happening”, such as creating shocks, unexpected surprises, volcanoes, sudden accidents, sudden assassination, rebellious activities, rioting, sudden blows, lynching and volatility, outbreaks of political tension, Right-wing political ideas, free-market enterprise, fascism and the urge towards individualism are on cards
• Separative movements, scientific breakthroughs and discoveries, explosions, anarchy and nihilism
• Public mortality, death-rate may increase
•  Financial relations with foreign countries may be affected
• Elderly people would be affected
• the national death rate may rise
• Epidemics may put people’s lives in jeopardy
• Landowners, farmers, miners, coal, and metals and minerals-related industries would suffer
• State funerals, public grief, and disappointments are on rise

2..  JUPITER  holds 1 portfolio,  such as,  Minister for Military and advisor to the King.  Jupiter indicates Goodness, spirituality, Ethics and Values,  Traditions is not very strong but yet good enough to make India as the World Spiritual Leader. The following events/things may happen:

• India becoming the World Spiritual Leader
• Saturn the king would get advises bases upon ethic, virtues and values
• Economy of India shall improve
• Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation, Spiritual practices become more popular  and  relevant for the world at large
• Religious places would be rebuilt, renovated and refurbished, bringing them back to ancient glory

3. MERCURY  holds 2 portfolios, such as,  Minster for Whether or Rains and the  Minister for Security and Defence.   There seem to be some struggles and/or challenges due to the signification of Mercury with the followings:

• All means of Communication, Media, Agreements and/or Contracts
• Modes of Transport
• Trade and Commerce
• Teenagers and Youth
• Law and Legality
• Diplomacy
• Communication issues would get better after 14 Apr 2022  

4. VENUS  holds 1 portfolio, such as,  Minister for Crops from December 2022 to April 2023. There seem to be some struggles and/or challenges due to the signification of Venus with the followings:

• Financials, Currency and its circulation and control, Banking sector
• Stock Exchange and Financial market
• Social and festive side of the National life
• Art, Films, Cinema, Artists, Actors, Drama, Music, Musicians,
• Anything that pleases senses, Luxury cars, Silk, textiles, etc
• Sex industry Diseases like VD, Female issues
• Epidemics, Plaque, influenza
• Humiliation, Scandals, political disturbances, association with women bringing disrepute, etc

5  MOON  holds 1 portfolio, such as, Minster for Sugar and Juices. There seem to be some struggles and/or challenges due to the signification of Moon with the followings:

• Common people, Public
• Essential commodities and its dealers
• Fishing industry
• Crops, Diaries, Water
• Alcohol demand
• Arguments at domestic front may increase

6. MARS holds 1 portfolio of Minister for Fruits and Flowers.  And Mars not being the   the commander in chief or the year, may give issues with

• • Defence, Aggression, Land, Violence, Manufacturing and Industries, Accidents, Rebellious attacks, Terrorists, Industrial Disputes, Fires, Military personnel,  Farmers,
  • Miners, Political fanatics, National Intelligence Agencies, Ammunition,
  • Applied Energy of the whole nation, Drastic changes in law and reforms, Emergency sort of scenario
  • War like scenario, Political/Foreign conspiracy
  • Underground activities
  • Natural resources 
  • “INTENSE AGGRESSIVE UNDER GROUND EVENT”

Hence, Astrologically speaking,  this year may cause “Sufferings, Turmoil, Violence, Natural Disasters, Spread of Diseases, Epidemic, Pandemic,  Lockdowns” 

In simple words, during this year   the serious nature of the events going to manifest within 1 year starting from 1 April 2022.

Please Note some Important Points/Dates

1.  5 April 2022:

Mars conjunct Saturn are forming ‘Yama (Death) Yoga’ in Capricorn.  Yama is the God of Death, but I would interpret Yama as ‘Death like scenario’  and/or ‘Restraint’ . This configuration indicates

• Some sort of destruction or lack of stability in the world at large
• War like scenario
• Natural Disaster, Explosions, Fire Balls, Accidents
• Lack of Discipline
• Possible Lockdown in some parts of the world

2. Russia and Ukraine – either come to some agreement or Russia could destroy the world further with ‘acute fire balls’.    No fruitful negotiation  can  take place till 14 April 2022.  Yes, there are good chances of signing   some sort   of treaty around from 14 April 2022. Venus joins Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces    by end of April 2022. Jupiter is exalted in Pisces.  Hence some ‘MELTDOWN’ may take place. 

3. 12 Jul 2022 – 23 Oct 2022:

Saturn is considered in ‘Fallen State’.   It has been noticed, Planet in ‘Fallen State’ gives very challenging effects, whatever it signifies.

• World: Governments, higher Governing bodies of the countries, Labour class, Public servants, elderly people, land-owners,  farmers,  mines, coal, and the produce of the earth
• India: Natural Calamities, Accidents, Suicides,  Spread of Diseases,  Health issues, Some sort of suffering, Killing, attacks, etc in  Defence Services

4. Watch out Period: 12 July 2022 – 23 Oct 2022

To my observation, during this  period  Saturn would be in Dhanishta Nakshatra which is ruled by Mars.  If I use principles of Nadi Astrology, please note this important parameter, Mars would enter Bharani Nakshatra on 16 Jul 2022 and  would start approaching Uranus and Rahu who would be already in conjunction. I fear, things would start getting worst from there on.  Period   28 July 2022 to 6 Aug 2022 is extremely  dangerous.  If I try to pin point the dates, 1-2 Aug 2022 is the worst of all. Here  Mars would conjunct Rahu and then  Uranus  in  Aries Sign and in Bharani Nakshatra.  ‘WAR LIKE SCENARIO’ would be active again

Please note, when Jupiter conjoined Neptune and Mars conjoined Uranus, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed.  I noticed on 12 April 2022, Jupiter conjuncts Neptune, and Mars squares Rahu;   this configuration is pregnant with Dangerous, Violent and Military strife.    To me it seems What has already begun will most certainly be amplified in July and August.

This is extremely dangerous configuration of Planets.

This indicates

• Violence and Military strife in the most unexpected manner
• Possibly refers to world troubles, calamities, War, Riots, Revolution, Ammunition, use of Bombs, threat or use of Nuclear/Chemical/Gas oriented weapons cannot be ruled out
• All sorts of disasters are possible
• Natural Disasters may be other form of violent disasters.
• I feel strongly, Islamic fanatics would play an important role here.
• Chronic ailments may rise
• Government structures would suffer
• Diseases (Old/New) may spread further
• Death or Overthrow or Assassination of the National Ruler is on cards
• Calamities
• Market crashes
• Labour class, construction workers, and/or Farmers suffers more
• Destruction of Budlings, crops, minerals
• “underground tunnels” may collapse, possibly due to attack
• Underground wealth (Oil, Gold, Minerals, Gas, Petroleum, etc) may be found
• Inadequate rains
• Robbers/Thieves/Terrorists/Rebels in action
• Public Mortality
• People may suffer due to various diseases
• Political instability or Political fanatics in action
• Atmosphere of wars , Accidents
• Financial relations with foreign countries
• Scandal (Sat and Mars in h8)
• National Tragedy, Possible death of the National/Important Leader, State Funeral
• Mass killing and/or Deaths
• Sudden Explosion
• Rebellious Attacks/Riots
• Ammunition dump
• Spread of Disease
• Major calamity
• War like scenario, Strained borders
• Political/Foreign conspiracy
• 12 April 2022:   FLOODS, CLOUD BURSTS, STORMS

5. April 2022 – Oct 2022:  INDIA

Constitutional issues (possible major changes in the constitutional leading towards development, border strained/war like scenario, some important person may pass away, (Ref: India Republic chart,  Annual chart of Republic)

Overall, the above parameters DO NOT  give   healthy future as Desired
